Are you new to online marketing and e-commerce websites? Are you thinking of an idea, but not sure how to market it online in order to maximize your profits? I've been there, and I've done that. My name is Todd Alexander. My day job is building, maintaining, and running the online marketing for the award-winning online e-store YeOldeCuriosityShop.com (http://www.yeoldecuriosityshop.com). In doing this I've done countless hours of research and application of online marketing ideas in order to bring our small business to the web. I have seen the scams, tried the marketing advice, and developed proven strategies. I have decided that there just aren't enough web sites out there to help the small business person who is looking for cheap (or FREE) ways to build and promote their idea, service, or business. Oh, there are an awful lot of site out there, but most of the people selling you online marketing advice only have sold that advice, not an real-world products. It's pure marketing hype. What I have done is to put all together, in one place, information and links to the online marketing and e-commerce sites and info that I have found to be valid, sincere, and - most importantly - actually useful in helping those just starting out. The Internet can be a great equalizer. Now, the small guy can give the appearance of a professionally produced site from the comfort of their home. Sure, you and I don't have the resources of a big corporation. In most cases, however, YOU DON"T NEED THEM! Your online marketing efforts are what will bring you traffic and build your profits. If you are just starting out, you need cheap and effective marketing advice in order to carve out your piece of the Internet. One of the new ways in which companies market their sites is to offer free services to yours. All of the online marketing tools you'll need can be found for cheap or free : autoresponders, classified ads, articles and suggestions, affiliate programs, etc. Also, I suggest a few, hand picked programs or services that I believe are essential to making your online marketing successful. I sell nothing, though. I just want to help point you in the right direction. Keep returning as I expect to be updating this page and site regularly. Be sure to check out my link directory.
